First, let me just tell you...I have a fine arts background and have never worked in retail, nevermind sales! I’m flying by the seat of my pants, taking risks and loving it so far. I have a great guide too, my cousin and fellow HempWorx affiliate, plus all the great HempWorx pros at our disposal in company Facebook groups.
People talk about “your story, your journey and you’re why” for joining HempWorx. Here’s the beginning of mine in this new venture.
Another major reason why I joined HempWorx is because I love helping people in their search for relieving what ails them. I love learning and I love sharing that knowledge.
I have really bad osteoarthritis in my neck, such that I have narrowing of the spinal chord. The arthritis causes major pain nearly every day, depending on what I’m doing. In fact, I’m not able to do a lot of the stuff I used to love to do, like gardening, and I had to quit my job as an artisan baker because it was literally killing me and putting extra strain on my neck. Only I didn’t know it at the time. I only found out about the situation after getting an MRI.
I’m using some of the HempWorx products to tackle my pain: 500 thc-free oil and I have Relief pain rub on order. It’s only been a week using the oil, and I do notice changes in mood and a little relief in pain, but I’ve been working way too hard. 5-6 hrs of driving on weekdays, then a lot of time spent doing the groundwork on the phone and laptop setting up my HempWorx business. And very little rest.
Back in May, I met with surgeons who said I would likely need some kind of fusion surgery in 5-10 years and I would lose 50% mobility in my neck. Sometimes just standing in one spot for a while, like a Homecoming game will cause my left hand to go numb and mess up my balance bc of the pressure in the neck. I want to avoid surgery as long as possible. I’m going to fiddle around adjusting my dose of CBD oil to give my body comfort, because it does work. I have no desire to take opioids for the pain and ibuprofen or alleve doesn’t do anything. Keeping my fingers crossed!
So I quit baking and started driving for Uber. I could rest and earn money at the same time. I love it. I love the spontaneity and adventure, being my own boss and setting my own schedule and having flexibility for sick kids or explorations with the kids or long weekends whenever I want.
I love meeting people and talking with them about all kinds of interesting things, gaining knowledge and sharing the knowledge that I have.
Being an Uber driver, you have to be pretty fearless. You never know where you’re going until the passenger gets in the car. I pretty much just drive when the kids are at school, and if I drive at night, I take people to the party but don’t pick them up from.
Sometimes driving hurts my neck, but I’m powering through the pain to get to the other side. I’m using some of my earnings to support my HempWorx investment because I really believe in this company and it’s products. And I’m determined to avoid the 9-5 life and follow my dreams to financial freedom! ❤️
Years ago, I worked as an egg donor coordinator at a fertility clinic. I was a Dreammaker of sorts, helping couples have babies, couples who had all sorts of obstacles to overcome. I really loved helping make people’s dreams come true.
I plan to do the same with HempWorx, help change lives for the better, make dreams come true, not only for myself but for you as well. It’s not just about my journey, it’s about yours too. I am so looking forward to the first testimonial I receive from a client, telling me how much they love our product and how much it has helped them.
For me, that will be the true measure of success. ❤️
